More from the Hotel job.

So I have been continuing work for my Hotel client. We shot cocktail shots, along with a portrait, some more food, and interiors. I am going to show some of the cocktail, and portrait shots here and later some of the interiors and food. Also soon I will unveil who the client is. I hope that people will comment on these images as well as post images I have posted here. The best way for me to improve is to here peoples thoughts and opinions of my work. What they like and don't like. What I should keep doing and things I should work on. That is the main point I have this blog and I hope people will help me by telling me their thoughts. So here are some images to look at, more will be coming. I am hoping to be more active on this and am trying to do at least two posts a week from now on, so hope you have enjoyed my work so far and will continue to.

Hotel Job

I have been working with a new client recently, a hotel client. I can't say who it is just yet, but I really love working with them and we have been doing great work together so far. This past friday we did a food shoot. This week we will continue with drinks and some portraits. I have just started today to go through the images making selects and doing edits. Figured I would post some teasers up here for all to see. Keep watch for the name of the client and more of the work we are doing together!!!!!

Terry Time

After my recent shoot with Yumi I still had the urge to take more photos. So I went over to my friends apartment and decided to do some shots with friends. I used my built in flash and did my own custom white balance setting and exposure and flash and all to get this cool feel to basic white wall images. I like them, you tell me what you think.

I have been working with Market Publique lately shooting Vintage clothing for their online retail store. It's been a pleasure working with them, and good practice shooting mannequins and lighting clothes. However one can only take so many days of one light set-up and endless mannequins before needed a challenge and some flesh and blood to shoot. So I quickly put together a shoot with a friend, Yumi. We had some fun and shot some looks with her in Market Publique clothing. Here is some of the results. Will post more images from the shoot in a few days. But start with these.

January 8th is the opening for the first showing of work from my newest series, In a New Light.

In a New Light

This week is the final week of shooting for my new fine art series, In a New Light. I have been shooting it for about two months, the official show of the series is January at a gallery in New Jersey. Above are some samples of work done during this time, some might be in the series, some not, but all are from the shoots for the series. The series originally was a homage to Francis Bacon and his study of portraits. Through the process of working on the series though it took a life of its own and became its own world and statement. None of the images are retouched or computer manipulated, they are the exact images taken.
