Just a taste

Below are just a few images I quickly selected and liked from my most recent shoot on Thursday at Sadowsky guitars. The instruments had me drooling for hours. I can't wait to make my selects and show everyone the final images from this. I also cannot wait to go there again and shoot more, especially some real beauty images of the guitars. Maybe convince them to make a trade a, a few prints for a wide hollow body blues guitar with black stain!!!!! I would name her Jen.

Kati

Wed. afternoon/night I did a test with a girl I have worked with a few times, Kati. Kati and I are good friends as well, and its always lots of fun and a pleasure to shoot with her. She is really one of those girls who you don't even really need to consider retouching with when shooting. I am of course an outspoken anti-photoshop photographer, but do find myself being asked to use it sometimes. I have a few shots from the shoot to give a taste of the images and such. I am now going through all of them and making my final selects and leveling images. But first here is a taste!!!

The following day I also did a shoot at an amazing guitar makers workshop. I will post some images from there soon. Am also filming all this weekend for a few things. Excited to tell you about my first ventures into video and to show what they are!!!!

Dog Soldier

Above are just a few images from the most recent concert from Dog Soldier. It was also the lead singer, Gabes, birthday. I am good friends with Gabe and the drummer in the band, Kevin Tooley. The three of us use to work together within an artist community off of Bowery in the Lower East Side. Kevin and I still try to find ways to work together as often as possible.

Hussle Club

So I had been taking a bit of a break from shooting music and bands, especially live performances. However recently certain things in my life have lead me to be drawn back to such work. One of my first returns to music photography was shooting Hussle Club at Hiro Ballroom in NYC. Here are some of my favorite images from that night.
